Le Peyratel

Le Peyratel offers a beautifully converted 19th century farm building with stunning views in a sunny village location in south western France.

With a sunny enclosed garden, the house is furnished to a high standard with a traditional fireplace, electric heating and modern fitted appliances in a handcrafted kitchen.

There are fantastic views across the valley from the back of the house and you can directly access trails for walks and summer picnics.

Situated in the hamlet of St Cirgues, Le Peyratel is just 7km from the typically French town of Maurs-la-Jolie, renowned for its street market and local produce, including the region’s five famous cheeses.

This is a perfect place from which to explore this beautiful region of France.

Maurs-la-Jolie, the nearest town, is situated in the Chestnut grove in the Cantal region of south west France. It conveniently borders three departments: Cantal, Lot and Aveyron.

It is proud of its French authenticity, friendliness and rich traditional cuisine.

 

Le Peyratel is in the Lot département in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France.

Regular flights are also available to Limoges and Toulouse, about two and a half hours drive north and south respectively.

If you plan to bring your car across the Channel, Saint Malo is about 8 hours by road and Calais about 14.
